Does anybody know where I can find a link to download a copy the evinrude diagnostic software? A few months ago I ordered the software from my dealer. For some reason BRP sent v4.4 on CD, a version from 2009. When I tried it on my 2012 model 115 it wouldn’t work, saying my engine is too new for the software. The 'Evinrude Diagnostics Software Program' communicates with the Engine Control Unit ('ECU') and the Engine Management Module ('EMM') and is used for retrieving engine diagnostic information, setting engine operating parameters, performing engine maintenance and printing engine reports on Evinrude Direct Injection or 'DI' engines and Evinrude E-TEC series engines. This will install all update files in Evinrude diagnostic program, and you can update your outboard from Evinrude diagnostic program by selecting “Software update”. Simply follow instruction on the screen and find right update for your engine. It will be marked with green check, so you can always check if it is right, on number label on EMM.
